Through history necromancers have been persecuted for their evil practices by both muggles and wizarkind. Although there is a lot of speculation, modern society does not correctly know how this College of Magic works, in what principles is based; they only blame it. In other words, they fear what they don't understand.
It must be stated, the ability to control both life and death is a powerful one, so it easily corrupts. Yet, the goal of this class is to teach it's basic and advanced principles, without risking the mind, flesh or even soul of the practicer.
The student of Necromancy will first go through a long process of physical and mental preparation, as well as "writting" lessons about it's history, basic theories, shammanistic rituals, primitive necromancy and magical ethic. Later on, practical lessons about how to control undead, animate lesser corpses, repeal some beasts, give life to simple objects which the very student crafted, some lesser rituals and the creation of beings from blood, fire or even nothing. At the end of the course, students should be able to cast several summonings, be able to communicate with the dead and the undead, manage several curses and countercurses, as well as other spells and, finally, be able to apply all this knowledge with an ethical and acceptable way for ethical and acceptable purposes.
